Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and controls the daily flow of work assignments to include rotation of personnel to dictated areas of operation
- Lead to work ratio expectancy of 30 to 70%
- Replenishes inventory lines for the evening warehouse persons
- Ensures daily pre-trip inspections are completed for each lift
- Monitors and controls the flow of returns and also assists inventory control in root cause analysis
- Operates forklift in the process of loading and unloading tractor trailers
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
- Operates forklifts to transport received and stored items
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Ensures the warehouse is cleaned and maintained daily
- Submits End of Day report to Management
- Willing and able to work with all products that may be ordered by our customers
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or AM Management team
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. WCS, SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
