Position Overview/Responsibilities for the AP Clerk:
- Enter and verify invoice data (vendor info, GL codes, amounts, dates) to avoid errors, voids, and manual corrections, making sure everything hits the right accounts and fiscal periods.
- Maintain vendor records, ensure timely payments (including recurring and manual check requests), and resolve disputes efficiently within department timelines.
- Follow compliance protocols, record accurate 1099 and California 587 info, and flag/report any policy violations or concerns.
- Record accruals properly so expenses are booked in the correct periods and JE (journal entry) clean-up isn’t needed later.
Required Skills for the AP Clerk:- Highschool Diploma/GED is required
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a centralized purchasing and receiving environment
- Preferred Healthcare experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications Ability to use Ten key by touch, type 40-50 wpm, read, write and speak English fluently Written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Details: $23/hr
