IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting user requirements, business processes, and system improvements, with a focus on licensing systems within Texas state agencies. This position offers the chance to work on complex projects that improve business operations and automate workflows.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements, business processes, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
- Translate requirements into user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Analyze program policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) of user stories, ensuring all acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements are met.
- Plan and prepare training materials, conduct training sessions, and develop proposals for new system development and process automation.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- Provide complex quality assurance consultation to projects, assignments, or initiatives.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, creating user stories, participating in Agile ceremonies, and leading refinement and sprint planning sessions.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Performing highly complex (senior level) business analysis work under limited supervision.
- Coordinate analysis of program policies and procedures to determine their effects on system functionality.
