IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Rochester, MN. This role focuses on supporting enterprise data initiatives by developing scalable data architecture and pipeline solutions. The company operates within the healthcare industry, leveraging data to enhance organizational decision-making and patient care.
Position Overview for the Data Engineer:
- Support enterprise data initiatives by building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data architecture and pipeline solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to access, analyze, and profile complex datasets.
- Translate business requirements into efficient data solutions, supporting both batch and real-time data ingestion workflows.
- Enhance current data solutions to meet evolving functional and non-functional business needs.
- Partner with software developers, database architects, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to ensure consistent data delivery architecture.
Requirements for the Data Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university or college OR an Associate’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Strong SQL skills, including query writing and troubleshooting across multiple joins and unions.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.

Compensation: $55 - 60/hr W2
