IDR is seeking a Developer 1 to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves supporting a legacy government tax application with opportunities for minor enhancements, troubleshooting, and configuration updates, all within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Position Overview for the Developer 1:
- Perform configuration updates and routine maintenance tasks
- Develop and implement small-scale enhancements to existing functionality
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues
- Support existing VB.NET codebase while contributing to C# modernization efforts
Requirements for the Developer 1:
- Proficiency in C# with a strong willingness to transition from similar object-oriented languages
- Understanding of VB.NET or legacy .NET environments
- Strong SQL Server experience, including writing and troubleshooting SQL queries
- Ability to support production systems in a structured enterprise environment
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
