IDR is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Plano, Texas. This role involves working within a dynamic team focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, and application deployment in a tech-driven environment. The company is a leader in digital solutions, leveraging cloud services and modern development practices to deliver innovative products and services.
Position Overview for the DevOps Engineer:
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure to support high availability and security.
- Automates code deployment processes and ensures smooth releases through industry best practices.
- Collaborates with development and security teams to optimize performance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Supports management of AEM Managed Services and AEM as a Cloud Service, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Sets up monitoring tools, performs root-cause analysis, maintains operational health, and documents infrastructure configurations.
Requirements for the DevOps Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience with scripting and automation in Python, Shell, Terraform, and CloudFormation for IaC and process automation
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and other cloud tools
- Experience with AEM Managed Services & AEM as a Cloud Service, including familiarity with cloud environments
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control, including pull requests, branching strategies, and repository management
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline
