IDR is seeking a Enterprise Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves defining and maintaining technology standards across the organization, ensuring that business solutions align with enterprise architecture strategies. The company operates within the nonprofit and healthcare sector, focusing on long-term operational effectiveness and technological evolution.
Position Overview for the Enterprise Architect:
- Responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining enterprise technology standards, including computer, network, data integration, and software architecture.
- Ensures that business solutions seamlessly fit into the enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
- Leads the development of transition plans, architecture roadmaps, and best practices for evolving legacy systems towards future state architectures.
- Oversees proof of concept activities and drafts whitepapers to support major technology decisions.
- Communicates standards and architecture governance, fostering understanding within the organization and developing metrics to evaluate architectural impact.
Requirements for the Enterprise Architect:
- Experience with an enterprise architecture methodology framework such as TOGAF
- Proven track record in integration technologies
- 5+ years of implementing enterprise applications such as Master Data Management or Business Intelligence-Analytics
- 10+ years of experience working with enterprise applications development, software development life cycles, and enterprise technology design and development
- Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style
