Position Overview:
The IT Support Technician I provides technical support to faculty, staff, students, and departments, focusing on basic hardware and software maintenance. Helpdesk/Call Center roles involve answering calls, offering remote support, and performing tasks similar to the desktop support team, with equal access.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of professional experience providing hands on support
- Experience working with ticketing systems – ServiceNow is what they use (Salesforce, ZenDesk, or any other home grown system)
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, excel, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
