IDR is seeking an AI Software Engineer II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Redwood City, California. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable data and analytics solutions, improving system reliability, and helping organizations measure the impact of AI tools and platforms. You’ll support an innovative organization in the technology and gaming space that is focused on advancing AI enablement through strong metrics, insights, and platform support.

Position Overview for the AI Software Engineer II:

• Own and enhance an existing AI metrics pipeline to improve reliability, scalability, and overall data quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to drive improvements.
• Extend data pipelines and analytics solutions to support new use cases, teams, and AI products.
• Design and implement dashboards, reporting tools, and other analytics resources for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, documentation, and broader support of AI platform initiatives.

Requirements for the AI Software Engineer II:

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Experience building, maintaining, or supporting data pipelines or backend systems.
• Familiarity with APIs, data processing systems, cloud environments, and debugging production issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to independently deliver on moderately scoped projects.
