IDR is seeking a Reports Developer to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by creating data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using Informatica IICS, Tableau, or PowerBI. The company operates within the healthcare analytics industry, focusing on improving public health data analysis and reporting.
Position Overview for the Reports Developer:
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies solutions, and performs studies and cost/benefit analyses.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems.
- Collaborates with organizational personnel to analyze current operations, identify problems, and determine input/output requirements.
- Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps.
- Supports the creation and testing of data pipelines, reports, and dashboards, ensuring they meet business needs.
Requirements for the Reports Developer:
- Creating dashboards or reports using Tableau / PowerBI or similar tools.
- Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data management experience using Informatica.
- Working with very large scale data sets in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Experience working with Informatica ETL tools, Tableau, and PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.
