IDR is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer – Loyalty & CRM to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Coppell, Texas. This role involves working on backend systems supporting popular restaurant brands, focusing on loyalty and rewards programs. The company is a leader in the digital customer experience space, offering innovative solutions in the hospitality industry.
Position Overview for the Senior Backend Engineer – Loyalty & CRM:
- Develop and maintain backend processes and APIs for loyalty CRM systems supporting restaurant brands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality and performance
- Utilize expertise in PHP, Symfony, MySQL, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize database queries and backend applications
- Contribute to deployment efforts using AWS services, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools
Requirements for the Senior Backend Engineer – Loyalty & CRM:
- 5+ years experience of PHP backend development
- In-depth knowledge of MVC Frameworks (Symfony)
- Strong expertise in MySQL, including writing optimized queries and solving complex data-related issues
- In-depth experience with Doctrine 3 ORM for handling complex database relationships and ensuring efficient data management
- Hands on experience with AWS, specifically with Lambda and cloud deployment (troubleshooting & modifying deployment)
