IDR is seeking a UX Designer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee. This role supports the IT department and involves working on digital product development, user experience design, and usability testing within a hybrid work environment. The organization operates in the technology and digital services industry, focusing on creating user-centered digital solutions.
Position Overview for the UX Designer:
- Partner with product owners to diagnose, prioritize, and solve user experience problems using various artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, and personas
- Lead comprehensive user research, usability testing, and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with UX content strategists, designers, and UI developers to express, validate, and communicate the user experience
- Facilitate user-centered design workshops to understand audience needs and promote empathy
- Ensure digital properties are accessible and Section 508 compliant, maintaining branding and consistent messaging
Requirements for the UX Designer:
- Minimum of three years relevant work experience on large, complex sites or similar roles
- Experience working on an enterprise Agile scrum team
- Proven ability to conduct user research activities such as surveys, usability testing, focus groups, and user observation
- Knowledge of user interface design processes, user-centered principles, and practices
- Proficiency with mockup and prototyping tools like Sketch, InVision, Axure, or Adobe Creative Suite
