IDR is seeking a Windows Deployment Technician to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting the deployment of Windows 11 for a financial services organization, focusing on efficient system upgrades with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Position Overview for the Windows Deployment Technician:
- Perform hands-on upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across multiple workstations.
- Use SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for deploying software and operating systems.
- Coordinate with staff to schedule upgrades and ensure minimal operational impact.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and validate post-deployment functionality.
- Support a fast-paced project with a target completion date within approximately 8 weeks, with potential for extension.
Requirements for the Windows Deployment Technician:
- Experience with Windows 11 deployment.
- 1+ years of experience in IT support, systems deployment, or related field.
- Hands-on experience using SCCM for software or OS deployment.
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10 and 11.
- Comfortable going onsite in San Diego every day.
